McIntyre Library Makerspace
What is a Makerspace?
A makerspace is a place where people come together to create. It has high- and low-tech tools and resources. It is a community of experts and novices, sharing ideas and knowledge to inspire the creation of physical items and digital content.
When will it be available?
The McIntyre Library Makerspace is currently under construction, but we'll be opening our doors this fall.
Who can use the Makerspace?
The makerspace will be available to the entire campus community--students, faculty, and staff.
Our Makerspace isn't open yet, but you can still get involved today:
- Students, join our student group MakeUWEC, contact Dani Brake in Math
- Faculty and staff, collaborate with us, contact Dan Hillis in the Library
Follow our progress
You can always check the McIntyre Library Homepage to see what's going on. But even better is to follow us on social media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
